Passenger Charged €500 Despite Taking Flight

Air France-KLM has come under scrutiny following claims that a passenger traveling on a multi-city ticket was charged a €500 “out of sequence” fee despite having completed the first segment of the itinerary.

According to the allegations, the passenger traveled on a KLM flight from New York (JFK) to Amsterdam on May 18. However, when attempting to board an Air France flight from Paris to New York on May 26, the passenger was reportedly required to pay an additional fee after being marked as a no-show on the earlier segment.

To prove that the first flight had been taken, the passenger reportedly submitted multiple forms of evidence, including photographs taken during the flight, a boarding pass, airport records, and mobile phone connectivity data. Despite this, it is claimed that a subsequent refund request was rejected.
